Bernardo Tellini

Bernardo Tellini (M’05) was born in Pisa, Italy, in 1969. He received the M.S. Laurea and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 1993 and 1999, respectively. Since 2000, he has been with the Department of Energy and Systems Engineering, University di Pisa, Pisa, where he is currently a Professor of electrical measurements. His research interests include measurement of electric and magnetic quantities, characterization of magnetic materials and electromagnetic metamaterials, pulsed power measurements, some aspects of electromagnetic compatibility, and of MHD problems. He is a Member of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society and of the IEEE Magnetics Society. During 2010-2014 he has been the Chair of the European Pulsed Power Laboratories EPPL.
